I interview our director of curriculum here at NRSNG Nicole who is a huge fan of concept based nursing so long as it’s taught properly.

The idea of concept based nursing in itself isn’t flawed however, many nursing programs fail to implement it properly.

Similar to how in nursing school we are constantly told how we must use critical thinking but very rarely are we taught how to critically think in a nursing sense.

We break down what concept based nursing is and how to thrive using this system.
