  • Droplet – isolation room, surgical mask okay, gown, gloves

    • Influenza
  • Contact – isolation room, gown and gloves
    • Colonized organism, or present of / infection with an MDRO
    • MRSA, VRE
  • Enteric – contact precautions but must wash hands with soap and water, no hand sanitizer
